Glink - Look and Feel
|
You don't need to work with a flat green screen
The look and feel of Glink Professional Edition is completely configurable, by the administrator or by the end user (unless locked by the administrator). Here you see a Bull emulation screen configured with wallpaper as the background and 3-dimensional effects for the variable fields. It has a frame with its own wallpaper as background at the left and top margin of the emulation screen. It has been configured with a toolbar, function key toolbar and emulation function toolbar. The toolbars are configured to be floatable, and have all been docked at the top of the screen.

Complete control of look and feel
The toolbars can of course be docked at the bottom of the screen, or floated anywhere on the desktop, even outside of the emulator window. The main toolbar icons are flat until the mouse moves over them, when they raise themselves as buttons, and at the same time a help tip-text appears. Below you see the toolbar at the top of the screen, just as the mouse has passed over the connect button. The function key and emulator function toolbars have been docked at the bottom of the screen. These also raise themselves as more pronounced buttons as the mouse passes over them. Glink has been configured to retain the font and terminal screen size, and add scroll bars as necessary, allowing the snapshot of the screen to show the toolbars at the bottom of the screen. Glink can also be configured to dynamically adjust the font size in order to display the whole terminal screen within whatever window size is chosen.
