Glink for Windows - download registration Glink for Windows offered here for download and trial is the latest version of Gallagher & Robertson's popular Glink terminal emulation program. It allows you to access core business applications running on mainframe systems directly from any 32-bit Windows workstation. It includes Glink API, which makes it available as a COM+ Object to your own Windows application programs. To download a Glink demonstration copy you must supply the information requested below. This is for our own records only, and will not be supplied to others. We will use this information purely for follow up of your download, by us or by a distributor in your country. In order to run the downloaded copy a trial key is needed, and will be sent to the e-mail address you give us.
NB! If you give us an invalid e-mail adress, we will be unable to deliver a key. We will issue you a temporary one day key immediately on receiving your registration. We will issue you a one month trial key before the one day key expires.

Installation and Setup
Run the downloaded program file (glwinpro.exe). This will unpack the installation files in a temporary directory and run the setup.exe program. Setup will install Glink for Windows on your disk and create a program group and shortcut.
If you already have an earlier version of Glink, you must install this version in a different directory. You can copy your existing Glink configuration files to the new directory, or modify the new Glink's shortcut to use your old Glink user directory (if you have one) to make all your configurations available).
The first time you run Glink it will ask for a key, and will work for a day using the one day key you will receive immediately in response to your download request. By then you will have received a one month trial key. That key is needed the first time you run Glink after the first day.
The first time you run Glink a configuration script will create a program group with shortcuts for live Glink demonstrations. These connect to real host applications for your initial evaluation.
The script will also create a shortcut for an unconfigured Glink in the Glink group, and optionally on your desktop. Configure this yourself to create your own Glink shortcut to reach your own host system.
