Performance and Scalability
Ggate is designde to be robust ans scalable. If available it takes advantage of multiprocessor architectures. On Linux and UNIX operating systems each session is an independent process that has no influence on other processes. This has the advantage that each session can be scheduled at any time by the operating system to use the least loaded processor.

On Windows systems each session executes as an independant thread with the same benefits. Memory is the most important resource in Windows servers. As long as there is enough available memory and network capacity you will be able to utilize the processor power of the Ggate server.

During Ggate qualification tests with Bull's GCOS8 Network Server Processor (GNSP), Ggate reached 15.000 concurrent sessions and 2.600 TPS on a single quad-CPU GNSP.
